Renewable Energy Idler is a component-based idle/incremental game focused on building realistic renewable energy systems. The main currency is Energy Credits (EC), earned by feeding inverter output to the grid. Progression is split: spend lab kWh to research upgrades, spend EC to increase component counts, and split inverter AC between grid (EC) and lab (research) with the Power Allocation Slider.

The loop:

  1. Generate energy on the DC Bus.
  2. Send inverter output to the grid to earn EC.
  3. Purchase unlocked generators, charge controllers, batteries, and inverters.
  4. Repeat. Reset Multiplier prestige is manual and optional.

Platforms in the design: Android, iOS, and PC (Godot v4.7).

Playtest in progress. These pages are incomplete.

In-repo docs remain the design authority. If this wiki and the game repository disagree, the repository wins. Numeric tables, technical outlines, and project-structure notes stay in the repo until they are marked public. Exact values live in the in-repo Component Data (unpublished).
